Top 6 Rooftop Bars For Those Summer Nights

The most sought-after entries in London’s summer lifestyle scene are definitely rooftops. In this Stay Club list, we went by two criteria: “the higher the better”, and “how relaxing does this feel?”. You can have a look at our top picks below but keep in mind that there’s only so much one can say about views; the true joy comes when you experience them!

Frank’s Café

One of the most well-established recurring visitors to London’s summer scene. Situated in a multi-story car park, this Peckham attraction has a reputation for its Campari based mixtures and abundance of street food options for when you get peckish in Peckham! Peckham Levels was the best possible addition to this venue, as its bold staircase makes for a studio-like feel where you can up your visual curation skills. All the above are complimented by perfect views of the vast city as you sip your cocktail!

Madison Rooftop, St. Paul’s

St. Paul’s Cathedral is an attraction for tourists and Londoners alike, as it’s quite the sight for sore eyes; and by sore eyes, we mean those that have been glued to a PC screen for the better part of the day and feel like happy hour drinks are in order! Thankfully, Madison is around to make both your wishes come true: happy hour drinks and the most dizzying views of St. Paul’s are offered in this idyllic location, that sits on top of the One New Change mall.

Fest, Camden

Bringing it home with this one, Fest Camden is one of the coolest neighbours we’ve got at Stay Club Camden currently. Although it has been a longstanding tradition in Camden, it was given a full make over last September, and the scenery has changed in its entirety. This versatile rooftop serves as a relaxing all-day spot, quirky bar, and ultimate party venue, interchanging between the three styles with stunning ease and maestry.

Netil360, Hackney

If you are looking for a wonderfully unpretentious -albeit slightly hipster infused- rooftop to gaze the city from, then Netil360 is your place. The grass floor enhances the summer vibes of this East London rooftop, where you can sip your beer (the selection of which is extensive) under the shimmering disco balls. Following East London’s many examples, the versatile venue also boasts a café, a gallery and a workspace. With the exception of the latter, they are all worth the visit!

12th Knot

The well-established Rumpus Room has been renamed, revamped, and generally turned into absolute perfection. This one is the choice for a quiet soiree, that is perfected by panoramic views on the edge of Southbank. The high-end feel of the place, the splendid interior and the city lights at your feet make for quite the Saturday night outing.

Sushisamba

Heron Tower has a quite the view, that’s why you’ll find two venues spread throughout its three top floors. Sushisamba is most well-known for its tongue tingling cocktails, best enjoyed under its balcony’s centrepiece- the glistening orange tree. The sushi is quite the treat too, but during summertime it’s the stunning views of the terrace that draw you to the Liverpool venue!
