In case you haven’t been acquainted with the celebration as of yet, St. Patrick’s Day is the immensely impressive extravaganza held in honour of the patron saint of Ireland! More than 125,000 visitors are expected to tune in to the Trafalgar Square happenings, while the abundance of events being organised everywhere in London is astounding!

1. St. Patrick’s Day Parade

The parade is approaching its 17th year, and it gets better and better each and every time. You can expect the most imaginative leprechaun floats, ceilidh dancing, and a spectacle that progresses for a wowing 2.4 km. The parade begins at midday and moves from Piccadilly to Whitehall…

2. KILA at the London Irish Centre

The London Irish Centre was sure to have a special surprise in celebration of St. Paddy’s Day, and that’s why Irish fold and world music legends KILA are performing on March 16th. Judging by how fast last year’s show sold out, we would be vigilant with purchasing tickets… Especially since KILA’s reputation as one of Ireland’s most innovative bands hints to an amazing show!

3. Ruckus at the Vault Festival

The Vault Festival is joining in on the celebrations for this year’s St. Patrick’s Day, and we can’t wait for the show! As if the Vault Festival isn’t impressive enough on an average day, Saturday the 16th of March is bringing us Irish mob vibes… So grab your tickets now, for the coolest experience of the weekend, filled with punk music, live DJ’s and theatre performances! Did we forget to mention the whiskey and ice cold beers?

4. St. Patrick’s Day Brunch at Fest, Camden

As if Fest Camden isn’t enjoyable every day of the year, it decided to throw a St. Paddy’s extravaganza in the form of bottomless brunch! March 17th will be the day that Fest Camden hosts an incredible afternoon party in honour of St. Patrick, with free flowing Bloody Marys and three course meals inspired by Ireland! Truth is, when we heard Guinness Pie and Baileys whipped cream, we were sold!

5. Teeling Irish Whiskey Masterclass

68 and Boston are hosting an Irish Whiskey Masterclass that we fell in love with instantaneously! Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with Teeling Whiskey tastings and Irish canapes, for a unique experience… But be warned: places are limited and prices are value for money, so we’d hurry if we were you!

6. Can’t Dance Ceilidh

The Piano Works at Farringdon and West End are throwing the most imaginative parties we have come across, and we couldn’t be more excited! Ceilidh is a traditional social event with Irish folk music and dancing, so it’s understandable that the venues’ “Can’t Dance Ceilidh” party title is not only humorous, but fitting for the day! The parties have different dates and times, so we recommend having a look at each one separately before you make your choice!

7. St. Patrick’s Day Party at The Stay Club

It wasn’t possible to leave the Stay Club out of the list, was it? St. Paddy’s Day will see the Stay Club lobbies decorated in green, with buffets that our guests can enjoy and lots of dancing! Oh, and there’s going to be live music too… So join us on March 17th at 8 pm to celebrate the patron saint of Ireland in style!
