King’s College London is one of the oldest universities in England, as it was founded in 1829. The university is a founding college as well as a member institution of the University of London and a public research university.
King’s College London is comprised of five campuses in various locations in London. The Waterloo, Strand and St. Thomas campuses are located in proximity to one another, on either side of the River Thames. Guy’s campus is close to North London’s Shard and Denmark Hill is a part of the London Borough of Southwark. The university is divided in nine academic faculties. The university’s alumni list includes many renowned personalities with notable work, such as Florence Nightingale and John Keats, while twelve alumni of King’s College London have been awarded the Nobel Prize.

King's College London Accommodation in Camden Town
The Stay Club Camden is located at the heart of one of London’s most artistic and culturally infused areas, opposite Camden Market. It is a convenient KCL accommodation, as there is a bus station outside The Stay Club Camden’s entrance, which stops outside of the Strand Campus, as well as close by the Waterloo Campus.
In terms of tube access, two Northern Line stops are a few minutes on foot from the accommodation. These are convenient for the campuses mentioned, as well as Guy’s campus in London Bridge.

Things to do in Camden for KCL Students
The Stay Club Camden offers plenty of things to experience both within the area, as well as in various other parts of Central London. Camden Town is well known for its abundance of lifestyle destinations, including many musical venues that have hosted great artists. There is no shortage of eateries to experience, ranging from international cuisine to some of the city’s most beloved vegan spots. Camden Market is also a great local attraction. Camden Town and Chalk Farm tube stations, both on the Northern Line, are located under 6 minutes on foot from the KCL student accommodation. The Northern Line offers speedy access to many of London’s wonderful Zone 1 spots, such as Old Street, Angel and Leicester Square. If you would like to stay local, though, Primrose Hill is a lovely neighbourhood with a park that offers stunning views of London’s skyline! Regent’s Park is also a short walk away.
